Training and Consulting

We offer training and consultancy services related to our portfolio of products, including Deja vuX, BABYLON, SYSTRAN, ContactMaker and ACCESS database. Our trainers and consultants have a wealth of industry experienced as well as expert knowledge of the software tools and their application.

Custom training courses help corporate customers to get started with the software tools, and to address their specific needs. This might mean concentrating on particular file formats or following the customer's emphasis on terminology, for instance. Duration is determined by the needs of the customer, but 2 to 3 days is typical. A trainer contacts the customer in advance of the course to ascertain the degrees of expertise and requirements of the trainees, of whom there are typically 2 to 5 per course.

"Open courses" are popular with freelance translators and localisers looking to increase their revenues and reduce the time spent on repetitive aspects of translation. On these one-day courses, they learn the basics of using the translation/localisation functionalities of the software tools, without emphasis on those project management functionalities which might be less relevant to them.

Consultancy is available to address many specific tasks such as data conversion, alignment of historical translations and advice on integration into other applications, such as document or workflow management systems using the APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
